„THE ENTRANCE”

March - November 2019

An artistic project carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Music and Dance, as part of the "Choreographic Orders 2019" programme, the City of Krakow and the Centre of Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor Cricoteka. "The Entrance" involved artists from three countries: choreographer Ayrin Ersöz (Turkey), Polish dancers, collaborating with the Krakow Dance Theatre, composer Sergej Maingardt (Germany) and video artist Grzegorz Mart (Poland). The premiere of the performance took place as part of the programme of contemporary dance presentations "Rollercoaster. Collectors of Thrills", realized by Cricoteka since 2018. The premiere shows of the spectacle were seen by about 300 spectators.


 

„WE|YOU on tour”

September - November 2019

As part of the project, Krakow Dance Theatre set off on a tour with a performance by WE|YOU choreographed by Eryk Makohon. The organizer of the project, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, was the Institute for the Promotion of Polish Culture. The dancers travelled a total of almost 3,000 kilometres to show the performance in ten cities in five provinces. They were on the route: Ostrołęka, Siedlce, Krosno, Wadowice, Tarnowskie Góry, Oświęcim, Kraków, Jędrzejów, Kielce and Myślenice. The show was watched by a total of over 1200 spectators.


 

„Rollercoaster. Collectors of Thrills - workshops”

The project was organized by the Tadeusz Kantor Cricoteka Art Documentation Centre and financed by the Institute of Music and Dance as part of the "Thought in motion" programme. Krakow Dance Theatre and the Performat Foundation were partners of the project, which included a series of dance, critical, photo and video workshops. The workshops were addressed to school children and seniors.


 

„Rollercoaster. Collectors of Thrills”

An original program of dance presentations, created by Eryk Makohon and Paweł Łyskawa, organized by the Tadeusz Kantor Cricoteka Art Documentation Centre, in partnership with the Krakow Dance Theatre. The first edition of the programme took place in autumn 2018, as part of the "Stage for Dance" project of the Institute of Music and Dance. The programme presents Polish and foreign dance performances.
